Pimente literally means ‘spicy’ in french, and that gives it away. Ajmal fragrances chose a french word when naming this scent and thats probably because although it’s a spicy woody scent from dubai, it’s not what you would expect from Dubai. It is clearly steered to a western palette and doesn’t come across as too dark or intense and doesn’t smell ‘oudhy’ either. If you’re into western scents but like to experiment Amber Pimente does present good value for money. 100ml for £29.99 usually doesn’t offer much, but Amber Pimente seems to pull it off. A good everyday option.
The packaging come across as masculine, but surprisingly its designed as a unisex scent to be enjoyed by either gender.
