Every bottle from the Dunhill Icon range is stunning; beautifully textured, heavy to hold, exuding a presence on any dresser, in fact I can just picture this as the kind of scent that would sit on the dresser of James Bond. Very Masculine, sophisticated, clean cut and quietly confident, yet edgy all at the same time. Containing notes from around the world, the scent is as well travelled as James Bond too, with the brand boasting that the scet takes you on a fragrance journey from east to west with detours to the most exotic places on earth!
It is a fresh , spicy scent with a woody, leathery dry down. If you like Terre D’ Hermes I could confidently recommend this to you, as they share similarities in citrus openings, peppery middles sharing the black pepper note, and a woody base also further sharing the vetiver note in particular. It also has a touch of oud in the base, so is a good scent for somebody that is starting to introduce oud into their scent palette but not wanting to go all out on a full blown oud scent.
