The poppy flower doesn’t really have a scent, however is more well renowned for it’s vibrant colour. Inspired by this Kenzo set out to create the scent of what a poppy could smell like when creating this perfume. Described by the brand as the expression of ”A vibrant, pure red; a touch of the fantastic.” This scent is definitely meant to celebrate both the strength of women, whilst celebrating their fragility and beauty at the same time.
FLOWER BY KENZO EAU DE PARFUM
£36.99 – £63.99
A powdery floral scent, a subtle balance of Bulgarian Roses and Violets, magnified by Vanilla and White Musks. A singular Eau De Parfum created by Alberto Morillas, that has become an icon in the fragrance world. The bottle design is a simple and beautiful, fragile and strong red flower, like the woman who holds it. Unpredictable, the poppy grows here and there, where least expected, to re-enchant the city. It blossoms on the urban curves of the bottle.
Only an uncommon fragrance could symbolize the poppy. Reveal its singular blend of power and fragility. Justly express its poetic power. Only a floral fragrance could do all this. The master perfumer Alberto Morillas chose the queen of all flowers: the lush, elegant, quintessentially floral Bulgarian rose. Acacia farnesiana and May blossom provide their finesse. Parme violet adds its understated, sensuous notes. A Bourbon vanilla absolute and white musks wrap these flowers in an addictive softness. A restrained floral fragrance recognisable anywhere.
