This is a refreshing musk. I find usually musk compositions are musky and powdery, musky and floral or musky and woody. This is different as it opens with a citrus note and I’d describe it as musky and fresh. Saffron is featured as it does in the opulent oud, and whilst I would expect saffron to be paired with oud I wasn’t expecting it to be paired with the musk. They’ve blended it well though, as it doesn’t stick out as an odd note like you might expect it to.
Both Opulent oud and Opulent musk get a wow reaction due to the choice of opulent notes and packaging. The name really does befit the perfume range and at £15 and it’s amazing value for money. In fact both the scents in the opulent series could easily be sold for more and I have seen them sold in some places for upto £45 each.
The velvet box with gold detail, voluptuous bottle with gold cap and a generous 100ml size make it ideal as a gift or a personal treat that makes you feel amazing whilst being light on your pocket. Together they make a pretty duo on any dresser too!
Unusual to find such luxury at such a crazy low price – but hey that’s what my £15 range is all about. A range of scents I have personally hunted down which exude luxury without the price tag you’d expect and all priced at £15.
