The name Pure Oudi is deceptive on this one. I expected it to have overwhelming amounts of oud notes given it has been named khalis oudi / pure oudi. Instead the woody notes kind of blend into the background of the scent whilst its opens with a spicy opening and sweet creamy notes are at its core. If you like the idea of a sweet oud at a very low price then this will be right up your street. If you are after a very rich woody scent then oud sharqia or opulent oud might be a better bet within this £15 range, or oud qadim if you wanted to push the bar a little higher. It comes with a free deodorant, which is a cool bonus given that it’s such good value for money anyway. The cap has a wood effect and there are bit’s of wood in the bottle for added drama and effect. A crazy low price – but hey that’s what my £15 range is all about. A range of scents I have personally hunted down which exude luxury without the price tag you’d expect and all priced at £15.
